JagSki

JagSki personal watercraft at the College of Engineering

Mission

JagSki is a personal watercraft system (SeaDoo GTI) fitted with a multi-frequency SonTek M9 ADCP for measuring velocity profiles, a hydrosurveyor system, a YSI CastAway CTD profiler, a YSI water quality sonde, and an RTK GNSS positioning system, used for measuring depth and velocity profiles in nearshore waters. Every hour, 3600 elevation measurements can be collected. It is an excellent platform for bathymetric surveys, dredge investigations, transport studies, and nearshore studies.
