The Paperwork Burden Reduction Act modifies provisions under the Patient Protection
and Affordable Care Act so that employers are no longer required to mail tax forms
to covered individuals showing proof of minimum essential coverage (1095-B and 1095-C
tax forms) unless a form is requested.
Beginning January 31, 2026, if needed, employees and former employees may request
a copy of their form by emailing their name and Jag number along with a consent to
receive the form via email to: employeebenefitshr@southalabama.edu.
